FACILITY OVERVIEWRiver City Linen Service is located at 3406 W. Leigh Street in the Scott’s Addition area of the City of Richmond.Our 50,000 square foot facility was an open warehouse that we designed, constructed and equipped to support a "flow through production process", as well as allow for significant growth.Soiled linen is unloaded into the controlled sort area on the Leigh Street side of the facility and moves through the plant; from wash-dry-fold or wash-iron-fold and into the clean area on the Moore Street side of the facility for staging, packaging, and loading.In early 2005 we began an expansion project the included the addition of 2 tunnel washing and drying systems, the addition of 2 complete finishing lines (total 4) with 6 roll ironers and 4 additional small piece folders (total 8).The completion of this project in 2006 has increased our capacity to over 25 million pounds annually allowing River City Linen Service the ability to serve the linen requirements of small to large hospitality organizations. |
